We’re Donating SNOOs to Hospitals—Here’s How to Donate Yours, Too
We recently announced that in response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are donating SNOO Smart Sleepers to hospitals around the country.
Nurses and doctors are in high demand, and many hospitals are already short-staffed. Healthcare workers will continue to contract the virus, which will gravely impact the hospital's ability to care for both mothers and babies.
New parents are being severely impacted, too. Some hospitals have allowed them to have just a single visitor. This has forced pregnant women to make the excruciating choice between being supported by their partner, mother, or doula/midwife. And, in some centers, mothers are prohibited from having even a single loved one at their side. Having a baby is hard enough without having to factor in a global pandemic. And now, with social distancing rules in our communities and homes, new moms are more isolated than at any other time in history.
