Coming up with Father’s Day ideas isn’t always the easiest, so we’ve put together a quick list of activities that the whole family can enjoy on Dad’s special day.

  1. Make Dad’s favorite food for dinner and follow it up with a movie night. Pop some popcorn and relax!

  2. If Dad is a camping kind of guy, plan a camping trip. If that’s too much or your kids are too young to enjoy it, do a makeshift camping trip in the backyard. Lay out a tent, start a campfire, and roast some s’mores from the comfort of your own backyard!

  3. If you live near water, take your family to the beach or lake for the day and soak up some Vitamin D while having fun with Dad. No body of water nearby? Plan a picnic at a nearby park. 1

  4. Take Dad out to his favorite breakfast spot or make him his favorite breakfast at home!

  5. Explore a local museum you’ve never been to in your town. It doesn’t just have to be art, there are lots of interesting and off the beaten path museums to explore for things like aircrafts, science and cars.

  6. Take the kids out of the house while Dad takes an uninterrupted nap…the best gift of all!

However you choose to celebrate Father’s Day, make sure Dad knows just how loved he is!
