Our baby boy is now three weeks old and, although pretty good, definitely has his moments of shriekdom. We've tried swaddling and he does not seem to like it at all, He's like a little Houdini.

We've been using the CD with pretty good results, but what we've found to work 90% of the time is the kitchen exhaust fan. You might want to include that in the future.

I know some parents are able to calm their fussy infants with just swaddling, but my baby had colic and needed 3 or 4 of the 5 S's before she would relax. But swaddling was always the first step!
