		<description>true - gas doesnt necessarily cause colic - but it can still be really painful for your baby and cause a lot of crying whether he has colic or not.  i learned a lot of good techniques for dealing with all kinds of crying - gas related and otherwise - from the Happiest Baby dvd.</description>

		<description>yes ellen - colic and gas are not always related. sometimes gas contributes to crying but its an old wives tale that gas is the main cause of colic.</description>

		<description>My husband started saying that our son must have inherited his sensitive stomach because he just wouldnt stop crying. He thought it must be gas or acid reflux. But pretty soon we figured out that the crying was due to colic and gas had very little to do with it.</description>
